CLOSURE OF LEGION FIELD ROAD BETWEEN T.H. 19 (WEST COLLEGE DRIVE) AND KENDALL STREET
ON THURSDAY EVENING, SEPTEMBER 3RD AND FROM TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH – WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH
Towne & Country Excavation will be continuing construction activities in the vicinity of Legion Field Road between MN Highway 19 (West College Drive) and Kendall Street. The contractor will be closing Legion Field Road this evening (September 3rd) and continuing through the day on Friday, September 4th to begin installation of the storm sewer underneath the roadway. The roadway will be re-opened with a gravel surface over the weekend. Please exercise caution when passing over the gravel section.
Towne & Country will continue work in the roadway beginning Tuesday, September 8th and continuing through Wednesday, September 9th. During this work, the roadway will again be closed to all traffic between MN Highway 19 and Kendall Street. Please arrange an alternate route during these two days.
Construction on this project is anticipated to continue through September 2020. Construction updates will also be posted on the City of Marshall website.
